Wild Island Film School is run by award-winning filmmaker, S-J Cooper-White. With over 25 years experience in creative direction and video production, S-J’s course emphasis is on personal development and storytelling, whilst connecting with nature in a meaningful and peaceful way.

The emphasis is less on the technical aspect on filmmaking and more on storytelling of the natural world.

All courses are one-to-one mentoring and all filmmaking equipment is supplied.

Wild Island Film School operates with integrity and believes in zero disturbance to the island’s wildlife. We would rather leave the creatures in peace and miss the shot than affect their natural behaviour. This is especially true when it comes to the otters on Mull.

The Wild Island Film School provides storytelling courses for all outdoor filmmaking. Wildlife does not need to be the focus of your film.
